Penn-ar-Bed - Finistère Department

The Penn-ar-Bed network, which is operated by private transport companies via public service delegation, is made up of a structuring network of regular lines that operate year-round and school bus routes that serve middle schools and high schools.

The Penn-ar-Bed network in figures:

  • 48 regular lines,
  • 14 operators,
  • Over 500 vehicles of which 390 are for school routes,
  • 12 to 13 million kilometres per year,
  • Approximately 10 million journeys in 2010/2011, more than 1.5 million of which were for business (usage has tripled since 2004),
  • Over 22,000 schoolchildren travel on the network every day.
